Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell is urging the FBI to assume full control of the investigation into his brother’s murder.

Caldwell, whose 18-year-old brother Christian was tragically killed on June 24, 2022, in a senseless shooting incident in Chicago, asserts that he will not rest until justice is served.

“In March of this year, I received a call from the Chicago Police Department informing me that they had made an arrest in an unrelated case and had reason to believe that the individual in question could possibly be one of the shooters responsible for my younger brother Christian’s murder,” he revealed during an interview on “Your World” on Friday. “They also informed me that the FBI was investigating this individual and that he was currently in federal custody. I commend and appreciate the involvement of the FBI in this matter.”

“Unfortunately, since then, the Chicago Police Department has failed my family,” he continued. “They have utterly failed us. The detective assigned to the case has not been responsive to my calls or text messages. Today, I want to use this platform to call on the FBI to fully take over the investigation into my brother’s murder.”

Caldwell expressed that his family has been enduring immense difficulty, and he is deeply disappointed with the incompetence displayed by the Chicago Police Department, which is “continuing to fail countless families.”

“How can they inform me that there is an individual in federal custody right now, who they strongly suspect of being responsible for my brother’s murder, and yet there have been no further developments since then?,” he pleaded. “Why aren’t they returning my calls? How is this possible?”

Caldwell shared with Fox News that he has been collaborating with a congressman to mobilize lawmakers and request the active involvement of the FBI in the investigation, thereby becoming a voice for victims nationwide.

“Given that we have the upcoming appearance of the FBI director before Congress, I intend to ask those members of Congress, regardless of their political affiliation, about the status of the investigation into the murder of Gianno Caldwell’s brother,” he disclosed. “I have reached out to the FBI personally on multiple occasions, but I have not received any response from them. Therefore, I would like to appeal to the FBI field office in Chicago, whoever is in charge there, to contact me. They have my contact information in their records. Similarly, if you are at the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., please reach out to me. You also have my contact information in your records.”

The analyst reflected on the fact that it is unacceptable for victims to endure such suffering due to the negligence and inaction of those responsible for prosecuting criminals.

“I am furious about the injustice. I am furious about the lack of action, and I will not rest until justice is served for my brother.”
