Country music star Lee Greenwood, known for his inspiring song “God Bless the USA” and his extensive body of work over the years, has launched a major initiative to support American veterans. He believes it is his God-given duty to honor our country and those who have served it. Greenwood is transforming a tribute concert into an opportunity to pay tribute to veterans.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Greenwood stated, “I continue to fulfill the purpose that I believe God has given me, which is to take care of our country, our families, and our veterans.” The “All-Star Salute to Lee Greenwood” is a new film that will premiere in theaters on November 12, 2023. The concert will feature performances by various artists, including Dustin Lynch, Lee Brice, Michael Ray, Michael W. Smith, The Oak Ridge Boys, and many more.

A unique feature of this event is that anyone can help sponsor a veteran and their spouse or caregiver to attend the premiere. Greenwood expressed his surprise and gratitude at the number of artists who came together to honor his music. He sees this premiere as a perfect way to celebrate his 40-year career and the individuals he has had the privilege to honor.

Veterans Day weekend will serve as the backdrop for the premiere, and Greenwood’s goal is to provide 50,000 veterans across the country with the opportunity to see the film for free. Concerts 4 A Cause, in collaboration with Greenwood, is partnering with Adopt a Vet to make this happen. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase through Fathom Events starting on August 4.

Greenwood’s iconic song, “God Bless the USA,” is not only played at military retirement ceremonies but has also been performed during the Super Bowl halftime show and at the World Series after 9/11. He humbly acknowledges the impact his song has had on millions of people, while also emphasizing that his success is not solely reliant on it.

William Lee Golden of The Oak Ridge Boys, who will also be a part of the concert event, shares Greenwood’s focus on shining a light on the sacrifices made by those who have served our country. Golden emphasized the importance of supporting veterans through initiatives like Adopt a Vet, which will give them an opportunity to experience the joy of attending this special event.

T. Graham Brown, another participant in the concert, expressed his admiration for Greenwood and the significant role he played in his career. Brown encourages everyone to attend the star-studded event, calling it a highlight of his own career.

Greenwood’s dedication to honoring veterans is further highlighted by his performances for nine U.S. presidents of both political parties. From President Ronald Reagan to Donald Trump, Greenwood has been a part of various events, including inaugurations and performances for first ladies and other dignitaries. He also expresses deep gratitude for his wife and family, who have supported him throughout his 40-year career.

Tickets for this one-night-only event, which showcases Greenwood’s No. 1 hits and numerous Top 10 singles, will be available for purchase on August 4. For more information, visit Adopt a Vet.
